ANDREW SCHECHTER

EVP, Development

A veteran unscripted executive, Andrew Schechter previously served as General Manager of Obé Studios and, prior to that, as the Head of Development for ITV America's Leftfield Pictures. At Leftfield, Andrew developed series and projects for streaming and linear platforms such as Peacock, Netflix, Hulu, Bravo, HGTV, Discovery+, History, Snapchat, USA, TruTV, Food Network, Nat Geo, A&E, CNBC, and Paramount.  He also served as Executive Producer on shows such as Table Wars, The Honeybeez of ASU, Alone: The Beast,  Surviving Joe Exotic, and Roller Jam.  

Prior to his time at ITV America, Schechter spent seven years at Scripps Networks (now Warner Bros Discovery), where he served as Head of Development and VP of programming across Food Network, Cooking Channel and Travel Channel, where he developed and oversaw production on hundreds of hours of series, including Guys Grocery Games, Restaurant: Impossible, All-Star Academy, and Giada at Home. 

Andrew began his career at Discovery Communications, producing shows for Animal Planet and Discovery Kids. A magna cum laude graduate of Boston University, Andrew resides in Brooklyn, NY with his wife and sons.
